The results shown are obtained by the development vehicle and may differ depending on the vehicle using this engine. The power indicated by the manufacturer is only available in "launch control" mode. The power and torque curves displayed reflect the constant power. In this case, the difference after WOT reprogramming is even more significant since this power is available permanently.

Welcome to the WOT universe. At WOT, the engine is an obsession. All our developments are done based on engine code. PSM-EBEA is the internal engine reference for your Audi e-tron GT RS. Let us sublimate your engine thanks to homologated engine reprogramming.

Vehicles other than the Audi e-tron GT featured on this page also use the PSM-EBEA.

It’s hard to hide the parentesque between the Audi e-tron GT and the Porsche Taycan.

However, the manufacturer has sought to offer something unique, a style of its own as well as a distinct, GT-oriented driving experience. This is manifested in particular through a softer suspension. Despite an electric platform shared with Porsche, the Audi e-tron GT retains its own authenticity.

This model is available in two different versions: the normal and the RS, bearing the name that is synonymous with ultimate sportiness for the brand of the four interlocking rings. The normal version is powered by a 476-horsepower electric motor, while the RS version is equipped with a 598 horsepower motor, offering lively acceleration, with 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds!

Although such performance is already impressive, it remains below what the Turbo S Taycan can muster, both in terms of power and charging speed, the latter being limited to 150 kW after 40% charge for the e-tron. After many days of research and development, the WOT team has developed a comprehensive electronic solution that allows these two versions of the e-tron GT to unlock their full potential, providing a breathtaking driving experience.

Against all odds
Some had predicted that the advent of electric vehicles would spell the end of reprogramming.

Despite pessimistic rumors that the advent of electric vehicles would spell the end of reprogramming, at WOT we took this as an exciting challenge: to increase performance while reducing energy consumption. This feat is made possible thanks to the various driving modes supplied by the manufacturers, which allow optimizing each vehicle’s performance individually.

We chose to start from scratch forget everything, and reinvent everything.

This was our mantra for electric motor optimization at WOT. To date, very few engine reprogramming professionals have dared to venture into modifying electrical parameters, and it has not been without challenges. It took us months to understand how the new Continental ASG1 ECU works. Fortunately, the performance was there, largely thanks to the manufacturer’s use of identical electronically limited electric motors. For example, the electric motors of the e-tron GT-RS are the same as those of the GTS, Turbo and Turbo S versions of the Taycan.

Positive conclusion

Thanks to a more powerful engine than that of the GT version, our e-tron GT-RS can do 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The only limitations that differentiate the e-tron GT-RS from a Taycan Turbo S are electronic, with a reduction in current intensity from 600 to 300 A. The RS version is the one that benefits the most from this increase in power, going from 598 horsepower to more than 800 horsepower. The top speed has been adjusted to achieve over 275 km/h, while 0-100 km/h is just below the 2.8 second mark. This performance worthy of a supercar is the result of many tests, while preserving the original characteristics of the Battery Management System (BMS), as envisaged by the manufacturer. At WOT, this means we can offer you the best in complete safety.

Did you know?

The e-tron GT is equipped with a two-speed ZF gearbox. The first gear is used in the sportiest modes, which allows achieving record times from 0 to 100. The second gear is widely used to save battery, the “Range” mode, for example, only works in the second gear of the gearbox.

The development process

We select the vehicle which combines the most significant criteria contributing to pollution, in particular: consumption, weight, air resistance (drag coefficient) and type of transmission. For this PSM-EBEA engine, we opted for the Audi e-tron GT RS model. If the vehicle successfully passes the numerous pollution tests, the official verification body can logically conclude that the other, less polluting models in the range will also obtain positive results. This is why, within WOT, such importance is given to the engine code.
