Audi changes the game

Jan was seduced by the brand-new generation of 5-cylinder, Audi 2.5 TFSI engines, built from an aluminum alloy block, internally known by the name “DAZA”; an engine code that quickly became established in the automotive enthusiast community. Despite his infatuation and a certain passion for new driving sensations, the acquisition of the Audi RS3 fitted with this engine was a carefully considered choice on Jan’s part.

The 2.5 TFSI DAZA engine was intensively developed, including an experimental turbo, with the ambitious goal of achieving 700 horsepower. It was during this exciting project that Jan and François met and developed a strong friendship. It also marked a notable milestone in the automotive industry, becoming the first ‘DAZA’ engine in Luxembourg to surpass the 650 horsepower mark.

WOT is honored to announce its unprecedented cooperation with TÜV Rheinland Luxembourg and the SNCA (National Society of Automotive Traffic). This collaboration offers customers the opportunity to benefit from an exclusive procedure for all WOT products in Luxembourg. It is thus possible to register the changes made by WOT on your vehicle registration card directly with the SNCA by means of a certificate issued by WOT, without having to go through TÜV Rheinland Luxembourg.

After many months of tireless work, WOT finally obtained the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification. The very first batch of vehicles, previously developed on our internal test bench, was subjected to rigorous tests in accordance with European Union anti-pollution standards, passing them with flying colors. It should be stressed that the first cars to successfully pass these tests were equipped with the latest 4th generation 2.0 TFSI engines, fitted in the Golf VIII.
